Trials
If a dog rescues you in a time of turmoil, what has to transpire in order for you to give him away? I don't know why I get so conflicted by the decisions made by others, and I don't know how to continue tolerating the selfish and the stupid.
I wonder if there is a "punch in the belly" rental facility where you could pay to sock someone in the gut. HARD.

Sounds like a good business to start. And you'd love your job...
Your post reminded me of a movie I saw years ago. It was about a woman with several children that was dying of cancer. She was trying to find good loving homes for her children before she passed. It was the saddest movie ever.
I suppose there a few reasons I could understand. Not many though.
My husband always says I love my dog more than him. I laugh and tell him it is good to know his place!
